This emoji represents a yellow face with both hands over the eyes, but where an eye a little cautiously looks out through the fingers. The eyebrows are also raised as if by surprise. It is often used to express that both want to look away, but still not. Often when it comes to things that can be scary, nasty or embarrassing.
The emoji was included in the list of emojis in 2022 as part of Emoji 14.0.
